Polymath was founded by sustainment engineering practitioners who had spent careers working on complex equipment programmes across Europe and internationally. We saw the same patterns repeated: equipment procured without adequate sustainment planning, maintenance systems that failed to deliver availability, lifecycle costs that spiralled beyond projections, and a persistent dependency on foreign expertise. We founded Polymath to change this — to bring world-class sustainment engineering capability to African operators, and to build the local skills and systems that will make African defence and industry genuinely self-reliant.

Djibril Sarr — Founder & Principal Advisor

Djibril Sarr is a Sustainment Engineering and Integrated Logistics Support specialist with more than 15 years of international experience supporting complex programmes in defence, aerospace, transportation and industrial sectors. He combines engineering expertise, business understanding and educational experience to deliver sustainment advisory and training services that are both technically rigorous and strategically relevant.
